The Greencastle Common Council met in Special Session, Tuesday, February 23, 1999, 5:00 p.m.
at the Putnam County Library. On the Roll Call, the following were found to be present:
Councilor Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Green and Councilor Masten. Councilor
Baynard was absent. Also present was: Attorney Tom Pitman, Baker & Daniels. City Attorney
Trudy Selvia was absent.
Resolution (1999) 5, A Resolution Indicating Willingness to Accept Water Quality Management
Planning Responsibilities, was read by Mayor Michael. Tom Pitman explained the SRF Program
is very formal and in order to continue the process these Resolutions must be passed and submitted
in the exact format set out by [DEM.
Councilor Roach made the motion to accept Resolution (1999) 5, seconded by Councilor
Hammer. Vote was unanimous.
Resolution (1999) 6, Model Signatory Authorization Resolution of the Common Council of the
City of Greencastle, Indiana, was read by Mayor Michael. Motion to accept Resolution (1999) 6,
was made by Councilor Green, seconded by Councilor Masten. Vote was unanimous.
Resolution (1999) 7, Resolution No. 7 of the Common Council of the City of Greencastle,
Putnam County, Indiana, was read by Mayor Michael. Motion to accept Resolution (1999) 7,
was made by Councilor Masten, seconded by Councilor Roach. Vote was unanimous.
Attorney Pitman stated the next step is the submission of the PER and other supporting documents
to IDEM.
Being no further business Councilor Masten made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilor
Hammer. Vote was unanimous.
