Monday April 20th, 1931.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the Mayors Office
of said City on Monday April 20th, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All
- the members of said Coin.nittee,liessrs, Holzapfel, Ford and Schnied-
er being present , the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were- read - and approved. •
Sup 't . , of Parks, was authorized to purchase - 6 Mallard Ducks for
Glen Park; also to stop venders of balloons etc. , from using the
parkways between the walks and gutters along Glen. Miller Park ;
also to employ Mrs, Stevens, caretaker at childrens playground
at Glen Park. -

e City Attorney was authorized to prepare contract between the
T.H. I.& E. Traction Co . , and Light Plant, for furnishing electric •
energy to said Traction Co. ; for one year ending May 20th, 1932.
The Coauiittee, received bids for automobile with slip-on Cody for
use of the M.E.L. (1 P.P. as follows, to-wit : -
" W. E. Mcwhinney Co. , bid;
Ford Model "A" -4505.00 allowance for old car-440.00-net-4465.00
1° E. H. Gilcrest Co. , inc . , bid;
Dodge--w710.00, allowance for old car-4115.00 net bid---5595.00 •
- Bids submitted to Sup 't . , of Light Plant; for investigation
report and recommendation.
Claims in amount of 47, 437. 45 were allowed.
