.Monday March 30th, 1931.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the Mayors Office
of said City, Monday .March 30th, 1931, at 9 o ' clock A.M. All the
members .of said Committee, Messrs, Ford and Schnieder, being pres-
eh_t. The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Committee received bids for furnishing linoleum, laying and
cementing the same in the Clerks Office; Engineers private office;
Council Chamber and halls on the second floor of the City Build-
ing as follows, to-wit : _
" Holthouse Furniture - Store, bid:
Battleship, lino. heavy ( 6MM) brown or terra cotta for 007. 25

hall and toilet-4178.85, Total .bid 5 684.37.
" The Furniture Shop; J .W.R4chard, bid; •
3/16" Brown Armstrong Battleship Linoleum, complete on l " lb.
Felt Paper pasted to floor, work in A-1 first class workmanship .
Material & Labor 282 sq-yds, w71+9.00, should we be able to save
any yards less than estimated it will be deducted at the quoted
yard price.
All bids referred to Building Inspector for investigation and
report.
The Committee received bids on Wiring and Lighting on second floor
of the City Building, under the plans and specifications prepared
by the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant , as follows,
to-wit :

" Stanley Electric & Plumbing Co. , bid : Wiring only 605. 00
Fixtures 30, rigid-- 265.00; Chain hangers-4237.00; chain hangers
bronze less lamps-4192.00; bronze mogul G.U.- 187. 50.
aids referred to R. Crandall, engineer Light Plant for invest-
igation and report.
Claims in amount of ; .0, 173 .4-6 were allowed. .11
