HomeMy Public PortalAbout03-13-1931 Office of Special Council Committee 45 City of Richmond, Indiana, Friday March 13th, 1931. The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at their office on Friday March 13th, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Committee., Messrs, Fahlsing, Ford and Schnieder being present, The following proceedings were had, to-wit : II The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read. The Committee approved a Lea signed by the Mayor, granting to John Addison, the privilege to use real estate owned by the City, situate on what is known as Newmans Hill, for gardening purposes for the gardening season ending December 1st, 1931, with the speci- fic understanding, that said Addison is keep the ground free from weeds of any character or kind. The Committee received a request from Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners, asking that an overhead washing apparatus be installer in the police garage, at a cost of $19. 50. , after some discussion entered into by the Committee, it was the unanimous opinion of the committee, that there was no need for such apparatus in said garage at this time. The Committee approved the plans and specifications prepared by Mr. Rudolph Crandall, for re-wiring the 2nd floor of the City Building, and directed the clerk to advertise for bids for said wiring under said plans & specifications, to be received at 10 o 'clock A. I. on Monday March 30th, 1931. Claims in amount of 4977. 72 were allowed. . The Special Council Committee then adjourned, 11 ;I<4.4,fd 4- 6:7"7-;144:1, Pt. , Attest ; Clerk of Board
