The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works, of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at their office Monday March 2nd,. 1931, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Committee, Messrs, Fahlsing, Ford and Schnieder, being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit : Tie minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. The Committee met to hear all persons interested or whoseprop- erty is .affected under Improvement Resolution No. 917--1931, for I/ the improvement of the alley between South 10th & 11th Street, by constructing cement roadway, from Park Place to South"B" Street. No one remonstrating, the Board decides that the benefits to the property, liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the cost of same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon confirm said resolution without -modification. The Committee received a copy of Order No 1216-M of the Public Service Commission of Indiana, in matter of Ralph Williams to operate a motor vehicle common carrier servile for transportation of property from Indianapolis, Ind. , to Ohio-Indiana State Line. which was tnrdered placed on file . The Street Commissioner was directed to cle; i,the gutters the • full length of Easthaven Avenue; also to "c%t > r curbs at corn- er of South 8th & "E" Streets. The committee approved the various city payrolls to March 1st, 1931. Mr. Dill, Sup 't. , of Water Works, appeared before the Committee in matter of petitions filed for extending water mains in Nation- al Road,west and Hilldale Avenue . , and agreed to take up the question of said extensions with the property owners.
