City of Richmond, Indiana,
. Monday February 23rd, 1931.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at their office on
Monday February 23rd, .1931, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of
said Committee, Messrs, Fahls.ing, Ford and Schnieder, being present.
The following proceedings were had, to-wit :

The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Committee received notice that the Public Service Commission
would meet Friday February 27th, 1931, at 10 o 'clock A.M. for the
purpose of hearing a motion filed by D. C. Harlan, Atty.at Law,
on re-opening for the purpose of opportunity to be heard in the .
matter of order of said Commission approved February 13, 1931, in
0ause No. 10409. The same was referred to' the City Attorney.
The Committee authorized the president to enter into contract with
1 R. L. Polk & Co. , for five (5) of the new City Directories, now in
course of publication.
The Committee received Warranty Deed and Abstract of title, from
.The Joseph H. Hill Company, conveying and deeding to ' tne City of
' Richmond, Indiana, 10 acres more or less of lands and .buildings
adjacent to Glen Miller Park, the green house buildings and equip-
ment and personal property therein contained are not included in this
conveyance, and all of such green house buildings, equipment and
personal property therein contained, shall .be removed from said
premises on or before November 1st, 1931. The Committee accepted
the same and approve the payment of $20, 000.00 for said conveyance,
and direct the clerk to have said deed recorded before the 1st of
March, 1931.
Mr. Hadley a resident of National Road east in Ravinia Park Addition
appeared before the Board protesting against the removal of the
) arc lighton said road, referred to Sup 't . , of Light Plant.

As the Committee are compelled to be at hearing before the Public
Service Commission, on Friday February 27th, 1931, all matters set
for that date are continued to Monday March 2nd, 1931, as no meeting
of the committee will be had on Friday February 27, 1931.
