Friday January 9th, 1931.
The S'elecial Council Committee, Board. of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at their office on
Friday January 9th, 1931, at 9 o ' clock A. M. All the members of
said Committee, :,Messrs, fahlsing, Ford and Schnieder being present
the following proceedings were had, to-wit
I/ The minutes of the preceeding meetin were approved as read.
The Committee met to hear remonstrances if any, of nersons whose
property is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 916-
1930, for the erection and installation of a system of street lights
and light posts on ooth sides of North 10th Street, from North'':+"
Street to the north corporate limits. No one appearing or remon-
strating, the Committee approved a final assessment roll confirming
• the primary assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct
the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance.
Permission was granted the Mills-Holden Hotel Company, to out the
curb for driveway at 17 & 19 South 9th Street .
The Street Commissioner was euthorized to make arrangements with the
,property owner on south side of South"Q" Street near the cemetery
for widening of said ") Street .
The Clerk was instructed to prepare an ordinance to be presented to
the Common fixing the salary of Municipal Golf Course Manager at
0.50. 00 per month, during; the Golf • season.
Notice of refusal of permit for certificate of public convenience &
necessity to operate motor vehicles as common carrier of. property
from Richmond to Ft.Wayne Indiana. ,"as received fro:=1__Indiana. Public
