Monday December 1st, 1930.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at its office on
Monday December 1st, 1930, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said
Committee, Messrs, Fahlsing, Ford and Schnieder, being present the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
I/ The minutes of the breceeding meeting were approved as read.
-The Committee sign agreement with Earl J . Moore, wherein the said-
Earl J . Moore is to pay to the City of Richmond, the sum of 050.00
per year for the exclusive rights to sell refreshments in Glen ;Millar
Park for the period of 4 years, from Dec.. 1st, 1930.
- The City was served with' notice to injuries sustained by Eleanor P.
Moon, on October 31st, 1930, through attorney Will W. Reller, by
atubling on defective sidewalk located at lla South 7th Street, in
front of real estate owned by W. Mercurio, breaking her arm etc. ,
the same was referred to City Attorney.
The Committee received report from Indiana Inspection Bureau, of
Indianapolis, Indiana, norifying the City, that the tests made of
The kuadriple Combination Pumper just purchased from The Ahrens-Fox
Fire Engine Co. , was in every way satisfactory,placed on file.
The Committee met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons interested
or whose property is affected by the vacation of first alley north of
South"B" Street on west side of South° 2nd Street between Lots 4 & 5
and alley in rear on a part of Lot 4, S.R.Wiggins, Addition, as pro-
vided under Declaratory Resolution No. 244-1930. No one appearing or
E. remonstrating, the committee action on said resolution, the same be-
ing confirmed without modification, and now order a 4 list or roll pre
pared of all owners or holders of property, and of valuable interests
therein, sought to be taken, or to be injuriously affected, which
list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected.
The Committee met to hear remonstrances, - of persons interested or
whose property is affected, by thenopening of a 11 ' alley off of the
part of Lot 4 and a part of S.W. corner of Lot 3, in S.R,Wiggins, Add.
as provided under Declaratory Resolution No. 245-1930. No one remon-
strating, the . coinmittee take action on said resolution, the same bein
fonfirmed without modification, and now order a lest or roll prepared
of all owners .or holders of property, and of valuable interests, there
in, sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or
roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected.

The Clerk _was directed to notify Harry Gennett, to trim the hedge on
South "A" Street at his residence °i` 65 South 21st Street
Street Commissioner was directed .to repair sidewalk intersection at
filling station North 9th & "A" Street, also South "H" & 8th Street.
The Committee approved the various payrolls to Dec. 1st, 1930.
Claims in amount of 4 1- 870. 28 were allowed.
