The Special Council Committee, acting Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Friday- November 21st, 1930, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Committee, Messrs, Fahlsing, Ford and Schnieder being present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. The Clerk was instructed to notify the Street Car Co. , to repairI/ . the streets between their tracks, in East Haven Ave; also National Road west, as complained of by Councilman Benn. Special Committee ,TheZciaxl met to hear remonstrances of any of persons whose property is oeneficially assessed under Declaratory Resolution No. 244-3-1930, for vacation part of North 2nd Street and the alleya between North 2nd and 3rd Streets, and between Railroad tracks and vacated North " C" Street. No one remonstrating the Board aporoved a final assess- ment roll confirming the primary assessment roll as heretofre ap- proved, and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance, and. declare said alleys & part of street vacated. The deferred action in- awarding contract for concession privileges in Glen Miller Park to Monday Nov. 24th, 1930. Co.Amunication from State Board of Health was received notifying that the City be represented at a meeting called December 2nd, 1930 at Indianapolis, Indiana, to confer on sanitary legislationo The Committee order arc light placed in Hunt Street, Between Linden Ave. and Maple Street; and matter of light in Horse Shoe Curve was referred to Supt . ,. of Light Plant . - committee The 2oard directed the Clerk to notify the heads of various city departments to meet wittt them, Nov. 26th, at 7;30 P.M. at their office. 16-51 The Committee adopted specifications for Fans with motors complete; 2-10, 000 G.P .i:. Centrifugal pumps complete with motors ; Concrete foundations for cooling tower & pump house; Brick pump house; Pipe, Fittings & Valves; Motor starters, conduit, switches and cable, for Light Plant Cooling Tower, and order advertisement for bids on same to be received December 5th, 1930. The Board ordered resolution prepared for installing Light Post & post system in South 22nd Street, from Main to South "B" Street. The Special Council Committee • then adjourned, (J-4. .
