Monday November 3rd, 1930.
The Special Council Committee, acting as Board of Public" Works
met at its office Monday November 3rd, 1930, at 9 olclock A.M.
All the members of said committee, Messrs, Fahlsing, Ford and
Schnieder, being present. The following "proceedings were had,
to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
It having been found that connections with the present bowls
in the toilet on 2nd floor of city building was impossible,/?4, F>,f ,
The Richmond Plumbing Store, were instructed to install new
bowl complete, for the additional sum of $31.00.
Sup 't. of Parks, H. Coleman, was authorized to purchase 155 •
Maple trees and 15 Elm trees, at price of $155.00 delivered
to Richmond, Indiana, and guaranteed for_ one year, from the
. Gaar Nurseries.
Sup 't. , of Light Plant was authorized to contract for one car
• - - of coal, to be delivered during the month of November, from
the Logan & Kanawha Coal Co. , at .250 f.o.b. mines.
Committee
ThexBaaxd re-open the hearing for the vacation of a part of
North 2nd Street and alleys north of C.& 0. Railroad, . as pro-
vided for under Declaratory Resolution No. 243-1930, and modi-
fy said resolution, to read also, the east & west alley along
the north side of Lot 163i0fficial Map of City of Richmond;
except that part of said alley running from North 2nd Street
west, to the right-Of-way of the C: & 0. Railroad Co. , No
remonstrance having been filed against said vacations, the
Committee take action on said resolution, the same being con-
firmed as modified, and the Committee now order a list or roll
prepared of all owners or holders of property, and of valuable
interests therein, sought to be taken or to be injuriously af- -
fected which list' or roll shall also describe the property
beneficially affected.

The Committee approved the various payrolls to Nov. 1st, 1930.
The Special Committee of Council, then adjourned to meet
Friday November 7th, 1930.
