Monday October 20th, 1930. • The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in ad- journed session in the office of Board of Public Works of said City Monday October 20th, 1930, at 9 o 'clock A. M. His Honor Windsor B. Harris Mayor of said City presiding called the meet- ing to order, the following members of the common council being . present ; Messrs, Crabb, Fahlsing, Ford, Hodgin, Holzapfel, Schnieder, Waltermann and Williams; Messrs, Benn, Brehm, Evans and Shissler being absent . Eight members being present, the fol- lowing proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read. V. W. Bann, requested permission to tap the sewer in Southwest "E" Street, his property being outside the city, on motion it ' • was unanimously decided that it would be a bad precedent to es- tablish to allow outside property to tap into the city sewers, requested was not granted. Upon recommendation of Committee on Public Utilities, the matter . of apportioning the additional insurance to Light Plant property was amended and divided, as follows; Beck Agency-- 680.97; L.A. . Handley-41,100.00; Kinder & d'ackson--- 950.00; H. L. Clement's . 4564. 62, in premiums on Fire, Windstorm & Tornado. in additional - amount of insurance, Fire $218, 500.00 Windstorm, $75, 500.00. Pursuant to advertisement, the common council received bids for " Forced Draft Cooling Tower for the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant as follows, to-wit : All bids according to the specifications prepared by said Light • 'Plant; " Foster Wheeler Corp, New York, N.Y. bid; 4" Sheaving-412, 830.00-6" 12, 590.00-8" $12,490.00 Spray 4970.00 two cell- _ eliminator "C.H.Wheeler Mfg.
