City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday October 6th, 1930.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met as the
Board of Public Works of said City at the office of said Board
Monday October 6th, 1930, at 9 o °clack A.M. His Honor Windsor
B.Harris Mayor of said City presiding called the meeting to
order, Messrs, Brehm, °rabbi, Fahising, Ford, Hodgin, Holzapfel,
Schnieder 4 Williams present. Messrs, Benn, Evans, Shissler and
Waltermann absent. Eight members being present. The following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Permission was granted. The A.D. T. & T. Company, to trim the
trees along the route of their lines, with the borisent of the
_ property owners on Peacock. Road, Richmond Ave. Northwest .5th
. Street, North 12th Street and North" I10 Street, with the under-
standing that said trees be trimmed in a proper manner, so as _
not to injure said trees, and the company clean up the debris.
Mr. D. C. Hess Sup 't. , of Light Plant, was directed to receive
quotations on coal for said plant and report back to Board, with
any recommendations he may have as to purchase of same.
Street Commissioner was authorized to attend the meeting of
Street and Road Officials to be held at Louisville, Ky. , Oct.
10th, llth & 12th, 1930.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids on water cooler
tower for Light Plant, udder the specifications as prepared for
same.
Claims in amount of $4320. 61 were allowed and ordered paid.
