Monday September 22na, 1930.
Tne Board of Public Works of the City of- Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday .September
22na, 1930, at 9 o 'clock All the meMbers of said Board, Messrs
Edmondson, Peelle and Dye being present, the following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Clerk reported that the tom-lon council had passed the till
appropriating 42500.00, for the purchase of street signs, brackets
and posts, the Board curected. the City Civil Engineer to order
said suns as adopted by the City Plan Com..iission and approved by
the Board of Works.
The Board received Warai ty- Deed, from Chester & Eliza Hill, a . •
part of Lot No. 19b Morton Lake & Park Audition, for the purpose
of widening the roadways at the intersection of North 24th Street
and New Paris Pike, consideration 0.00.00, clerk directed to have
deed recorded.
The Board enter into contract with the Wiley Electric Company for
light oulbs for the year 1950-1931. _
The Board extend the contract with the Terre Haute, Indianapolis
and Eastern Traction Company, as heretofore- entered into for the
period of six months from November 20th, 1930, for furnishing.
electric energy to said company, subject to the approval of the
Public Service Com:::ission of Indiana.
The Board received copy of order in Cause No. 10201, of the Pub-
lic Service Coma ission of Indiana, discontinueing trains Nos.
9+() & 947, operating between Richmond, Indiana, and Columous, Ind. ,
effective September 1 th, 1930, 10 o ' clock P._vi. in matter of the
petition of The Pennsylvania Railroad.

Mr. D. C. Hess, Sup ' t . , of Light Plant, recommended to the Board
that the Kelvinator type of refrigeration oe installed at the
Light Plant Store Room ana boiler room and turbine room, for
cooling of drinking water at the plant, same was taken under
advisement.
