Regfitlar Meeting of the Counc.il;-
Council met in re�mular session , Mayor V2hlsing presiding
and Councilmen Lindeman ,Lu�.ve Okones and Kruse.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and on motion by Lindeman
second. by Kruse approved as read- motion carried.
A report of Fire inspection of Chimneys and Stove pines vas
returned and�read by the Clerk- Report showed. that many property's
had defective flues and chimneys, and the matter being referred
to the property owner by the inspectors -
It was moved and seconded. the.t a public notice be published
in the local Newspaper, calling attention to the property o!vners
to have the defects taken care of a.t once.
It was moved by Kruse second by O��ones that a partition
be nut up in the Pumphouse to senerate the Fire Truck from the
rest of the building. Motion carried.
Treasurers report was read, and ordered placed on file.
It was moved by Kruse second. by Lu�.ve that the Street
committee
have the sidewalk grade put in on the south side of 6th
Street
Ir7otio n carried.
Geo Potgeter was present and asked the council that a
grade
be established on the street along the Elevator property
the council
toor� the matter under advisement.
It was moved by Kruse second by Lindeman that the Mayor
appoint
a night man
for the winter months, that the salary be set
at not
above �65.
