RESOLUTION APPROVING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENTS WITH LOCAL 702
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") and Local 702 representing
the Borough's Supervisors (the "Union") have conducted negotiations resulting in a
collective bargaining agreement for the period January 1, 1997 through December 31,
1998; and
WHEREAS, the Borough and the Union have also reached an agreement for the
period January 1, 1999 through December 31, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk be
and are hereby authorized to execute each of the attached collective bargaining
agreements with the Union for the period of January 1, 1997 through December 31,
1998 and January 1, 1999 through December 31, 2001.
Adopted this 16th day of September, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the original
on September 17, 1999.
