A petition for arc light in South 11th Street, between South"D" 9� it " Streets, filed with council was received, taken under ad- visement . The complaints of Councilman Waltermann, as to removing the gar- bage from _,ia rk et House, was referred to market Master, with in- structions to have same attended to. Also, complaint that the man at Crematory was not looking after garoage handling in a proper manner was taken under advisement for investigation. • Upon recommendation ion of Councilman, Williams in matter of adver- tising for the collection and disposal of all garbage and collect- ion of dead animals, and have sa..ie removed from City limits, in an effort to eliminate the Crematory, was received and Clerk in- st.ructed to have plans prepared and submit same to Board for their approval. The matter of petition for extension of water main in Parry St. was referred to 4ater Works Corporation for investigation and report . Permission was granted Po!ilmeyer Realty Co. , to construct drive- way SE.Pt . Lot 10, L.Burgess, Out-lots acorner South 5th & "H" Sts. from lot line to curb line. the A copy of order of the Public Service Commission, reducing the rates cnareed oy the Liberty Light Co. , to ==. 2, dNilli ams- burgh, et-al, was received and placed on file. The City Attorney rendered the following opinion,viz : As no oonb. ordinance was passed oy the Council, it is my opinion tnat it would cc, irreuiar to receive bias, and we would, no doubt, have difficulty in selling the uonns. The City Attorney and Sup 't . , of Light Plant, were instructed to formulate a contract for furnishing current to T.H. I . & E.
