Friday August 8th, 1930. •
The Board of Puolic Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Friday August 8th,1930,
at 9 O 'clock A. ti.. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Edmondson,
Peelle and Dye being present. The following proceedings were had,
to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. .
A com_aunication from Geo. J . Derbyshire Sup 't. , of C. & 0. Ry. Co. ,
requesting a meeting with the Board of Public Works after Tuesday
August 12th, 1930, was received, on account of City Attorney Brown
going on his vacation, the Clerk was directed to notify said Sup 't. ,
the Board would be pleased to meet with him Friday August 29, 1930.
The matter of Claim of Mr. Schildkiiecht in amount of 70.00 for
services of Dr.. Misener, in attending his son, in matter of fractured
limb, caused by a defective swing in Glen Miller Park in 192g.
• was received and referred to City Attorney for approval.
The Board received a communication from Chas. Ackerman, offering
,.his properties to . the City for a street department garage for the
sum ofp10, 750.00, said property located on South 2nd Street, south
Of South. "B" Street, and being about 143.12 feet on 2nd Street and
extending back to the C.& 0,R.ailr•oad ap )roximately 160 feet, to-
gethei° with the buildings situated thereon, the same was ordered
placed on file.
The City Civil Engineer, was directed to prepare plans and Improve-
ment Resolution for Relief Sewer in South 6th Street., South "B"
and South " 0" Streets, known :es t e. South " " St7eet rc.ii.ef sewer.
. Claims in amount of 03687. 98 were allowed. ,
