The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Friday July 25th, 1930
atJ9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Edmondson,
Peelle and Dye being present The following proceedings were had,
to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board awarded contracts for the following coal, based upon bids
received July l8th, 1930 and upon analysis of the different coal
as bid upon, to-Wit
" John• Longsterth, 125 tons N.& S. W.Va. , City Bldg. gw4.00 per ton
" Muff Feed and Coal Co. , 15 tons Winifred Lump Det .Hos.r4.89 " "
and 40 tons N. & S. Ky. , to • 2 & 5 hose houses @ $ 3.84 per ton.
" Shera Coal & Supply Co. , 40- T. Poc. Lump or Egg 16 &4 45. h0 ton.
" Taylor & Thompson Co. ; 50 tons on Switch Poca.M..R. Parks-'i4. G7 ton.
The Board enter into contract with the Richmond Home Telephone Co. ,
for switch board Lo telephones at Light Plant Office. 5 years
The Board autho.r:.ze Sup 't . , of Light Plant to purchase a Ford Sedan
Automobile.
Sup 't. , of Light Plant was instructed to receive bids for Oil used
at Light Plant. .
The Board received bids for Quadriple Service Truck with 600 Gal.
' Pump, Hose Body, Booster, and not less than 156 ft. of ladders,
under the specifications of Fire Chief E. E. Miller, to-wit :

made on old chemical hose wagon to be taken in trade. •
