City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday July 21st, 1930.
The Board of Public Works .of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
July .21st, 1930, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Edmondson, Peelle and Dye being present, the
following proceedings were had, to—wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting .were read and approved.
Kichmond Glove Company, were granted permission to cut the curb
on. best side of Fort _Wayne Avenue; also the south side of
North "D" Street Lot No. 31. J. Cox° Addition, on the southwest
. corner_:of .said Avenue and °D"" Streets.. .
Sup 't. , of Parks, was directed to make purchase of two -Monkeys
for Glen Miller Park.
.Sup 't. , of .Parks was instructed .to proceed with the road on
west side of Lake at Glen Miller Park, by having cement curb
and gutter laid, by employing the necessary labor needed other
than regular employees and to rent large cement mixer of W. L.
Magaw. .
The Clerk was directed to notify council, that the Board to—
gether with the Mayor and Sup '.t. , of Light Plant had held a
meeting with the United Midland Co. , at Indianapolis, Indiana,
and the Columbia Gas & Electric Co. , at Cincinnati, Ohio, in
reference to stanby service for electric energy, to be furnished
the city, and were expecting a report freak said companies with—
in the next ten days.
Claims in amount of 0_4, 50. 24 were allowed.
