Special Session
The Board of Public Works -of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in special session Thursday July 3rd, 1930, at 9 oiclock
A.M. All the members of said Board Messrs, Edmondson, Peelle
and Dye being present. The follslwing prose, dings were had
to-wit :
The Board direct the M.E.L.& P.P.- of the City. to purchase one
car of coal per day during the month of July from the follow-
. ing named dealers at prices named, to-lit :
Leckie Coal Co. , bid: N. & S. .800 per ton f. o.b. mines,
a. Va. , Coal & Coke Corp. , bid; �p3.3a per ton f. o.b. Richmond.
Logan & Panawila Coal Co. , bid; per ton f. o.b . mines.
Permission was granted E.M.White, to cut the curb for driveway
at 446 Southwest -th Street.
Permission was granted A• T• Chenoweth, to cut the curb for
driveway at 413-417 Sedgy ick Street.
In matter of improvement of South 20th Street, under Improve-
ment Resolution No. 911-1930; the ten day period for filing
petitions for improvement of said street, having elapsed, and
no petition having been presented, the Board award the contract
for said •:improvement to Lea Ridgeway, confirming their former
action in said matter specifying paving said roadway with
Bituminous Re-tread Macadam on b'' concrete base.
Payrolls to July 1st, were approved.
