Monday June 23rd, 1930.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday June 23rd,
1930, at 9 o °clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Edmondson, Peelle and Dye being present,- the following proceed-
. ings were had, to-wit :
I/ The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Mr. H. A. Dill, Sup °t. , of Richmond Water Works Corporation, to
whom was referred the petition of property owners in South 5fg- &
4th Street, for extension of water mains in said Streets, to 11Q"
Street, reported conditions in the territory are dangerous to both
the health of residents and fire protection on account of not having
proper facilities for water, upon the recommendation of M . Dill,
the- Beard authorize the Richmond Water Works Corporation, to extend
the 6 water main in South 5th Street, from South °00t° to "Q" Street;
in South "P" Street, from South 5th to 4th Street and in South 4th
Street, from South ItP" to "Q" Street, and to install four fire hy-
dras, providing, the water corporation receive 15 or more bona-fide
consumers of water in -said territory.
Mr. Hess, Sup °t. , of Light Plant, was granted permission to close
down the 10,000 k.w. turbine at light plant the .light of July 3rd
and have the same taken down and looked into and repaired and
cleaned if found necessary, which would take to the night of July
6th, 1930.

Claims in amount of 416620. 29 were allowed and ,ordered paid.
