Members Present : Joseph Sullivan , Susan Riseman , Eric Levy, Rick Scannevin
Absent : Greg Wright, George Bausch
Meeting .
1 . Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 12 : 02 PM
2 . Declaration of Quorum : Quorum with 4 of 7 members present, one vacancy
3 . Meeting Participation Statement : Read by Chairman Sullivan
4 . Public Forum : No comments, no public attendees .
5 . Review of Previous Minutes : Postponed until next meeting .
6 . Review of Select Board ' s new Appointment Policy : This evolved into a lengthy general discussion
about the Bikeways Committee member makeup and how they are selected and appointed . We
talked about whether or not having Town employees on the Committee can be a potential
conflict of interest . It was also brought up that maybe the Bikeways should include pedestrian
members and therefore the Committee name should be changed to reflect that . Some of the
other Towns have done this : Sandwich Bikeways and Pedestrian Committee ; Falmouth Bicycle
and Pedestrian Committee and the Welifleet Bike and Walkways Committee to name a few . We
will address this with the Select Board .
7 . SB FY22-23 i Strategic Plan : tabled .
8 . Review Brewster' s Bikeways Strategic Plan : tabled
9 . September + Bike Month Review : tabled
10 . Open Meeting Law Training recap : tabled
11 . FYI : Committee members are required to notify the Town Clerk, via email accepted , that they
have received the "Summary of the Conflict of Interest Law" .
12 . Matters not Anticipated : none
13 . Next Meeting : December 10, 2021 at 12 : 00 PM via Zoom
14 . Adiournmeht . Meeting adjourned at 1 : 09 PM
