= Monday May 26th, 1930.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday May 26th
-1930, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the -members of said Board, Messrs,
Edmondson, Peelle and Dye being present.- The following proceed-
ings were had, to-wit:
11/ The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Permission was granted Hoard Hunt, to cut the curb on south side
of South "B" Street at Lot #1, Reeveston Addition.
Permission was granted Wm. B. Fisher, to cut the curb on east side
of Northwest 8th Street at Lot #1, Ellemans, Sub-Division.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits and damages
under Declaratory Resolution No. 242-1930, for the vacation of al-
- leys between South loth & 20th Streets and between South "A" & "B"
Streets; also, part of South 20th Street as laid out on the- Official
Map, -City of Richmond, Indiana.
The Board requested City Engineer, to notify the City Plan Commis-
sion to meet with them Wednesday at 9 o 'clock A.M. for the purpose
of conferring in the matter of the J. H. HaA.nes complaint as to
the recently .opened South "G" Street from South 23rd Street west
through said J.H. Hanes property. -
The Board grant the Boy Scouts permission to use Glen Miller Park
on June ' th, 1930, for their outing, and direct the clerk to noti-
fy J. W. Clements of said permission and request him to get in
touch with Mr. Shinn_ temporary Sup 't. , of parks, for any assistance
desired to make the outing -a success.
The Board adopted Improvement Resolution�a o `zg the Sup 't. , of
Light Plant to install two light post system in Southwest 1{-th Street
between West Main Street and the National Road, the posts to be
charged to the adjacent property.
The Board order Arc Light placed at South 14th & "G" Streets, and
directed, the Light Plant Sup 't , to make necessary repairs to the
lighting system in Glen MillerPark and to install a small light
over the oven in Glen Miller Park.
Claims in amount of $654. 67 were allowed.
Whereas, the next regular meeting of Board is Friday May 30th, 1930
the- same being Decoration Day, the Board decide to meet V ednesday
May 28th-, 1930, in special session instead of May 30th, 1930.
