The Board of Public Wprks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday May 12th, 1930, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Edmondson, Peelle and Dye being present . The. following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read. Permission was granted C. W. 4ddleman, to cut the curb at 439 Pearl Street for driveway. 1/ Permission was granted the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, to place temporary bentupports on each side of the steel bents of their bridge overSheridan Street, encroaching upon the street & sidewalks only the minimum amount required by the temporary timbers, the bent supports to be in place only so long as may be necessary to replace the masonry foundations of the permanent supports,and to be removed as soon as pos- sible after the completion the repair work. The permission is granted with the understanding that the railroad compahy will provide warning signs, calling attention of vehicle drivers to the temporary conditions of the street, also to provide red warning lights at nights and assume all responsibility for any accidents that migth occur to persons or damages to prop- erty on account of the temporary bents, protecting the City of Richmond against any and all claims of whatsoever character that might arise in connection with the work in question. Claims in amount of 45918.9? were allowed. The Board then -djourned, Prest. of Board Attest: Clerk of Board
