REZONING AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 674, CHAPTER 8
ARTICLE 6, SECTIONS 6-1 THROUGH 6-35
Sec.7-75: Rezoning 819 Division Street, Plainfield, IL
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly advertised and held
on the amendment to said Chapter 8, Article 6, Sections 6-1
through 6-35 (Ordinance No. 674) of said Village of
Plainfield as hereinafter set forth, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission the Village of Plainfield
has heretofore filed a report of its acts and doings in the
rezoning of all of the real estate hereinafter described from
Residence A to a B-1 District
WHEREAS, we believe that the highest and best use of the
real estate hereinafter described is for uses permitted in a
B-1 District under said Chapter 8, Article 6, Sections 6-1
through 6-35 and
WHEREAS, no written objections to the rezoning of said
premises were filed and no one appeared in person to object
to the rezoning of said real estate, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Plainfield that the petition for
rezoning of the real estate hereinafter described should be
granted and that said real estate should be rezoned and
reclassified from Residence A to B-1 District
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 7~-75-1: Territory Described. That the fo~.lowing
tract of land, to-wit:
Lot 6 in East Plainfield, Being a Subdivision of
part of the West Half of Section 10, Township 36
North, Range 9 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the Plat thereof Recorded,
July 9, 1836, in Baok A, Page 315 and 316, as
Document no. 207, in Will County, Illinois,
(excepting therefrom that part of said Lot 6,
dedicated for roadway purposes) and described as
follows: Beginning at the Northwest Corner of said
Lot 6, thence an an assumed bearing of South along
the West Line of said Lot 6, a distance of 10.00
feet, thence North 26 Degrees 46 Minutes 26 Seconds
East 17.86 feet, thence South 53 Degrees 32 Minutes

52 Seconds West 7.0.00 feet to the point of
beginning, containing an area of 40 square feet
equals 0.001 acres.
which said district of land is now part of a Residence A
District as described in Chapter 8, Article 6, Section 6-1
through 6-35.
Being the same is hereby detached from said Residence A
District and is hereby reclassified and rezoned as B-1
District as described in Chapter S, Article 6, Sections 6_1
through 5-35.
Section 7-75-2: ]: rt i va id. The invalidity of any part
of section hereof shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof.
Section 7-~75-3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect fram and after its passage and
approval as required by law and shall be
numbered as Ordinance No. 1187
