Friday March 14th, 1930.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Friday March 14th
1i30, at 9 o 'clock A.M, Messrs, Edmondson and Dye being present;
iV!r. Peelle ceing absent, two members of said Board being present,
the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the breceeaing meeting were approved as read.
Permission was granted to Russell Hendrix, to cut the curb on
north side of National Road 'west, at Lot 1, 21&3 . Hghts, Kidd. , I/
Permission was granted to Mrs. Heironimus, to remove the tree in
front of 218 North lath Street, with orders to remove the stump
below the surface of walk.
The Board met to hear all persons interested, or whose property
is affected by the improvement of West Main Street, by construct-
ing 6 ' cement sidewalk on the north side of said street, from
Northwest 8th to llth Street, under Improvement Resolution No. -
906-1930. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board decides
that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said
improVements are equal to the cost of same as estimated by the
City Civil Engineer, and thereupon take action on said resolution
the same being confirmed without modification.
The Board met to receive bids under Ii5j_ovement Resolution No.
907-1930, for the construction of storm-sewer in South 8th Street
from South" 0" to "P" Street, in "P" Street 60 feet west; thence
by ditch to South 7th Street, as follows, to-wit :
