Friday February 28th, 1930.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Friday February
28th, 1930, at 9 o ' clock A.M. All the members of said Board,,
Messrs, Edmondson, Peelle and Dye being present. The following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
ilinutes of preceeding meeting read and approved.
Upon recommendation of Metropolitan Police Commissioners, the
Board awarded the contract for seven passenger phaeton auto-
mobile, to the Richmond Auto Sales Co. , for 8 cy. , Studebaker
President, J Net price of 41800.00 according to bid received
February 24th3 1930.
Upon recom iendation of D.C.Bess, Sup ' t. , of Light Plant, the Board
awarded contract. to- L. H. Uilcrest, inc. , for 5 passenger Dodge
. Bros. , Sedan, for Light Plant at net price of 0.095. 00 accoctd-
ing to bid received February 21st, 1930. -
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Declaratory
Resolution No. 240-1930, for the vacation of South 6th Street
from South " L" to " Ji" Street ; South"M" Street, from South 6th
to 7th Street; Also, alley between South 6th Street & vacated
Oakland Place from South "L" to. "M" Street ; Also, alley lying
between ': est line of right of way of C. & 0. Railroad and
Oakland Place, from South "Iii" Street to Southeast line of Lot
296 Beallview Addition, rate of benefits . 1W per linear foot
for streets, and . 050 per linear foot on alleys.
01ais in amount of 411, 843. 22 were allowed and ordered paid.
