The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in . regular session at the office of said Board Monday February 24th, 1930, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Edmondson, Peelle and Dye, being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read & approved. Reid communication was received from Reid iviemorial Hospital Trustees, 1'equesting that if the ornamental lights are installed in North lath Street, the same be extended to corporation line. Upon the payment of the sum of : l5.O0. and signing the proper articles of agreement with the City of Richmond, ,:+ir. L. F. Miller was granted permission to tap the sewer in Southwest "E" Street, at Lot No. 16 lviaxwellsn, - Addi tion. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 907-1930, providing for the construction of 36" storm sewer in South 8th Street from South "Ci" to "P" Street ; thence .west 60 ' with 54" sewer; thence by an open ditch to South 7th Street, and directed the Clerk to ad- vertise for bids for said work. Pursuant to advertisement, the Board received bids for a 7 passenger Phaeton Automobile under specifications submitted by the Police De- ra.rt:ment of City of Richmond, Indiana, for use of the said Police Lepartment as follws, towwit : Chenoweth Auto Co. , bid; 1_930 Buick model 69, fully equiped according to specifications of poilce department--v 2025. 00 less allowance for Buick-4 30.00 N- 1595.00 " Richmond Auto Sales Co. , bid; Seven Passenger Studebaker President 8 cy. Phaeton fully equiped ac- cording to specifications, p2#55.00 less al. for Buick 4655. Net-5 1800. • " Auburn Auto Co. , Connersville, Ind. , bid; 7 Passenger Auburn Phaeton Sedan according to specifications,'l989. 50 and the old Buick Ton.ring car in exchange. " J. A. 0ampoell Inc. , Chrysler " 77" phaeton equiped to meet the specifications called for 42275. 00 allowance for old 1926 Buick-4360.00 Net price-1895.00 All bids taken under advisement for investigation and report from Police Board.
