Friday February 14th, 1930. .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Ri c mond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Friday February 11;-th,
1930, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Edmondson, Peelle and Dye being present. The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The minutes ' of, the preceed.ing meeting were read and approved.
A petition was received for the improvement of West Main Street, by
constructing cement sidewalks on north side of West Main Street from
West ath to llth Street, the same was referred to the City Civil
Engineer for investigation and report .

Street Commissioner was instructed to remove the top soil from the
sot.th side of School Street and gravel said south side of street
from the G. R. & I . Railroad to Northwest 5th Street.
Street Commissioner was directed to have a casting for inlets made
of Malleable iron in order to ascertain the weight thereof so as to
ascertain the difference In cost bitween gray iron and malleable
iron on said castings.
Mu. Morey who has had charge of the City Golf Course for the past
several years, apueared before the Board in an effort to ascertain
the future course of said golf course, after some discussion on the
matter, the Board decide to make investigations as to the best
method of handling the same.
