The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, appointed by His Honor Windsor B. Harris Mayor of said City, having duly qualified met in the office of said Board, for organization, at 2 o 'clock P. ,M. Monday January 6th, 1930, all the members of said Board, W . P. %dmandson, Jas. Peelle and W. B. Dye, being present. The following proceedings were had to-wit : The Board on motion elected W.P.Edinundson as President of Board and Jas. feelle as Vice President and ,fixed the days and -time of regular meetings of said Board, as Monday and Friday 9 o 'clock A.M. of each week. The Board appointed the following officers, to-wit : Daniel C. Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant. Edgar E. Miller, Fire. Chief. John V. Schneider, Street Commissioner. Clement V. Carr, Sup 't. of Public Parks. Earl H. Bradfield, Sealer of Weights & Measures & karket Master John Walton, Custodian of City Building. Leslie W. Beach, Building Inspector; subject to approval of council. Upon the recommendation of the Board of Public Health and Charities, the Board of Public Works, appointed the following; Edward Elstro, Meat Inspector. Ora L. Wilson, Dairy Inspector. Benjamin F. Drischel, Sanitary Inspector. The Board then in order to facilitate and take care of the various matters, apportion their respective duties as follows : Mr. Edm@ndson, to have charge of the Municipal Electric Light- ing & Power `Plant. Mr. Peele, to have charge of Streets, Alleys, etc. , "Mr. Dye, to have charge of Public Buildings, grouhds,parks, etc. , it being understood that no one person can act for the_ whole board in matters of any inportance. • The Board then adjourned,;f1Y2 Prest. of Board Attest :. lerk of Board
