Thursday December 26th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday December 26th,
1929, a.t 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had
to-wit :
The Board approved the purchase of Lots No. 1-2-3-4-5 & 6, Jaides
Varley 's, Addition to the City and part of 'quarter Section 32,
I/
Township 14, Range 1, West. by and for the Municipal Electric Light-
ing & Power Plant of said City, in the sum of 48,000.00, all lying
on the west side of North 2nd Street. (See reco-rd attached hereto)
Swayne,Robinson & Co. ,
The Board direct the Finance Department to pay$6,000.01 to John F.
Hipskind, being the balance of the 5io retained under Improvement
No s, 848 & 849-1928, for construction of Clear Creek Outfall Sewer
and the Clear Trunk and Lateral Sewers, with the understanding by
said John F. Hipskind, contractor, that in the event it be found
that some of the house connections are not laid deep enough or are
faulty, the said Hipskind, to make the necessary changes, with out
charge. to the property owner or the City.
