Thursday December 12th, 1929.
The Board of Public ;corks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board, Thursday December 12th
1929, at 9 o 'clock A. :,d. All the members of said Board Messrs,
2.LcFail and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had
to-wit :
i _ The Board of Public Works met to hear all persons interested or
whose property is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution
No. 881-192S, for the improvement Of South 22nd Street, by construct-
ing cement sidewalks, curb, Butt er s,plah!t in`; trees and paving the
roadway, from Reeveston .Road to South "E" St'-eet. No one appearing
or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll confirm-
ing the original assessment roil as heretofore approved, and now
direct the same be forthwith 'transmitted to the Department of Finance,
The Board met, to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose prop-
erty is primarily assessed under . Improvement Resolution No. 886-1929
for the improvement of Dodge Street, from SOuthwest 1st St. to White-
water Boulevard; and Southwest 1st Street, from Southwest f DI to "Ell
Street, by constructing cement sidewalks, curb & gutters &_planting
sf trees on-both sides of said streets, and paving the roadway,Tbe-
tween the points named. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board
approved a final -assessment roll, confirming the original assessment
roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be forthwith
transmitted to the Department of Finance.
In matter of claim filed by the Hayes Const action Company, against
J.L.Teegardener & Co. , for materials & labor' furnished under Im-
Ciovement Resolution No. 82-l929, upon the recommendation of the
ity Attorney, the City Controller was instructed t0 retain improve-
ment bonds in amount of the claim, until final settlement is a.:_r ai blue(
uetween both parties concerned.
The. Board approved contract with the Westinghouse Electric Mfg. Co. ,
_ for transformers for M.E. L.& P.P. for the year beginning January 25,
1930 and ending January 25, 1)31.
Claims in amount of y 61{-20.03 were allowed.
