Monday November 25th',1929.
The Board of Puolic Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday November 25th,
1929, at 9 o o clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
McFall and Henley being present. The following proceedings were
had, to--wit :
Upon payment of 0.5.00 The Bell Lumber Company was granted permis-
sion to tap the storm sewer at South 7th & "L" Street, for running
drain from cellar and downsbouts into same under the supervision
of City Engineer. (No solids to run into said sewer)
The A. T. & T. Co. , were granted permission to trim the trees by the
consent of property owners, in Peacock Road; Richmond Ave; Northwest
5th Street; North Bth, North . 12th and North " I" Streets.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement Reso-
lution No. 88l-l928, for the improvement of South 22nd Street, from
Reeveston Road to South "E" Street.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement Reso-
lution No. 886-1929, for the imbrovement of Dodge Street, from SW.lst
St . to Whitewater Boulevard and Southwest 1st Street, from Southwest
"D" to "E" Street, (complete street ) .
The Chief of Fire Department was authorized to purchase two new tires
and tubes for the No. 1, Pumping Engine. .
Pursuant to advertisement, the Board received bids for removing the
garbage from Crematory bins f or the year ending i7° December, /^3 9 1 as
follows; to-wit :
" Preston Bradshaw, bid;
475.00 per year for privilege of removing garbage from Crematory.
Gorge Kircher, bid;
; 25.00 per year for privilege of removing garbage from ret!ta ,o„y.

° William P. Bond, bid;
Will haul the garbage from Crematory, free of charge.
The Board take said bids under adviseiieilt for investigation.
Claims in amount of 25, 248.39 were allowed.
• Clerk was directed to serve notice on Arthur Thomas, to remove the
lum0er e bc. , from vacant lot in South 21st Street, between Reeveston
Road & South "E" Street.
