The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday November
18th, 1929, at 9 o 'clock A.k. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
bIcfall and Henley being present . The following proceedings were
had., to-wit :
Upon recom_:tcnd-cation of the City Plan Com :issio_n, the Board ordered
resolution prepared for the vacation :of South fl rii" Street, from 6th
to 7th St; ee t ; tale alley between SGut,n 0t11 a_ OaklanG Place, running
from South L. to UI Sts. Soth 5th from " L" to "MU Streets, as mak±k
petition for by Julius E. Bell, et-al Sep, 9, 1929,
The Board approved a flat representing 15 city lots No. 1 to 16 both
inclusive lying on south side of -South "E" Street between South 19th
and 21st _S treet, known as"Commons 2nd Addition to City" .
The Board approved a plat representing c city lots No. 1 to 8 both
inclusive, lying north of South ' O Street from South 9th to 10th

Su'ueiintendent D. 0,Hess, was directed to place colors on light _'lobes
during Holiday Season 1929, the City to pay as amount as heretofore
paid.
The Board ratify contract to furnish the Terre Haute, Indianapolis &
Eastern Traction Co. , with electric energy for operation of their
Sureel, and Interurban Cars, for a period of six (6) months froth
November 20th, 1929, the contract being an extension of contract
as approved by the Public Service Oo,6 "ission November 9th, 1928, as
of record of -proceedings of Board of Public Works, November 19th
1920, on pages 206 to 210 both inclusive, this book.

Claims in amount of b963 . ori were allowed.
• The Board approved the various .payrolls to November 16th, 1929.
The Board approved the budget of Light Plant for the year 1930 in
amount of 5N (49, 000.Q0, and order' tho Caine presented to council for
their consideration and approval.
The Board then adjourned,
