Thursday November 14th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday November
l4th9 1929, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board,
Messrs, McFail and Henley being present . The following proceed •
-
ings were had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear all persons interested ' or whose property is
affected under Improvement Resolution No. 905-1929, to improve the
territory between South 5th & 6th Street, by constructing a Sanitary
• Sewer, running from the present sewer in the alley between South
5th & 6th Street at South I ' Street; thence south over and across . I/
private property to Lot No, 20, Anna B. Cohorst, Addition to City
of Richmond, Indiana, No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board
decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed
for said improvements are equal to the cost of sane as reported
by the City Civil Engineer and thereupon take final action on said
resolution, the same being confirmed without modification.
Permission was granted to Sam. Jaffe to cut the curb for driveway
'on goixth 2nd Street side of property located at Southeast corner
• of Main and South 2nd Street.
Permission was granted Chas. E. Thomason, to tap sewer into inlet
at .South " L" & 8th Street for septic tank, upon payment to the
City of the sum of 015.00 and signing agreement that he will not
remonstrate or protest against future sewer in this location.
Claims in amount of 0.770.85 were allowed.
