The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session' at the office of said Board Monday November 1Tth,
1929, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, MCFail
and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit
The Board directed the Finance Deparc^ient, tC pay the 5% retained
under Improvement Resolution No. 864-192E, to m'j.h.�iagaw contractor

amount ljjl.42,The Clerk reported he had received summons in Wayne Circuit Court in
matter of Harry J . Hanes, appeal from order of Board of Public Works
referred to City Attorney.
The Board received notice of merger hearing of Traction Co 's, before
Public Service Commission December 2nd, 1929, referred to City Atty. ,
• The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily assess&
under Improvement Resolution No. 882-1929, for the improvement of
South "H" Street from 5th to oth Street. No one appearing or re:.ion-
strating, the Board approved a final assessment roll confirming the
orginal assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the
same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance.
The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily assess&
under Improvement Resolution No. 904+-1929, for the improvement of
South "I" Street by constructing cement sidewalks both sides thereof
from South 5th to eth Street. No one remonstrating, the Board approve
a final assessment roll, confirming the original assessment roll as
heretofore approved, and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted
to the Department of Finance.
The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily assesse
under Improvement Resolution for improvement of streets in Ravinia
Park let Addition to the City of Richmond, Indiana, No one appearing
or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll confirm-
ing the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now
direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance
The Clrk was directed to notify the M. E. L. & P.P. to move the joint
pole at South 8th & " 0" Streets; also, the itic inond Water Works Car ,
to move and re-locate the fire hydrant at South 8th a "0" Streets.
