In accordance with the Warrant , the inhabitants of Brewster qualified to vote in
the Annual Town Election met at the Brewster Community Center/Town
Offices on Tuesday , August 27 , 1991 .
The polls were declared open at 7 :00 a . m .
The election workers , duly sworn in were ; Dorothy Grenier , June Gallant ,
Edwin J . Blease , Dorothy Pendergast , Mildred A . Unger , Janet McManus ,
Helen Brandon , John Unger , William S . Nielsen , Phyllis M . Cosand , Eleanor H .
Nielson , Violet W . Bishop , Ruth Hanlon , Kay Kenney , Ann Carney , Lois
Curcio , Eileen Karwoski , and Joseph Tucker .
The polls closed at 8 : 00 p . m .
Question 1
Shall the Town of Brewster be allowed to exempt for the provisions of
Proposition two and one- half , so-called , the amounts required to pay for the
bond issued in order to provide additional compensation for the acquisition of
land known as the Frey property as originally voted in Article 5 of the
December 10 , 1984 Special Town Meeting and further amended under Article
1 of the August 26, 1991 , Special Town Meeting by the Town ?
