Thursday October 24th, 1929.
. The Board of Public Works of the .City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday October
21 th, 1929, at 9 0 t clock A.M. All the members of said Board,Messrs,
McFail" and Henley being present. The following proceedings were
had, to-wit :
Permission was granted the Refiners Oil Co.., to cut the curb and
construct driveways to, filling station at NW.corner of South 8th
& "E" Streets'. - .

Peri�� ission was granted the Wayne Dairy Products Co. , to cut curb _
at `t"4 South 6th Street.
The Board' met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose prop=
erty is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 903-
• 1929, for improvement of alley between South 9th & 10th Street
by'-constructing cement roadway, from South" I" to "J" Street. No
one remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll-
confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved
and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Depart-
ment- of Finance.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll,, for the improve-
ment of streets in--Ravinia Park First Addition.
The City Civil Engineer reported that the low bids received on
three types Of pipes ix matter of construction of Southeast
Storm sewer under' Improvement Resolution No. 901-1929, as follows:
Boyd & Cook Dayton, Ohio, Monolithic Concrete, to al - 421, 641.25
Segmant Block - 25, 552.80
John .Dehner,Ft . Jayne, Znd, Concrete Pipe- - 25 411. 70
.The City Engineer reported that there is a saving of 03770.45
to the City by the acceptance of the bid on monolithic pperete
construction, and on this basis he would recommend it .for accep-
tance. On motion of Mr. Henley, the contract for the construction
of the said sewer was awarded to Boyd & Cook of Dayton, Ohio. ,
at their bid on Monolithic Concrete Pipe, as per their bid as
above stated.
