Monday October 7th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday October
7th, 1929, at 9 o /clock A.M. All the members of said Board,Messrs, .
�a�cr'ail and- Henley being present. The following proceedings were
had, to-wit : •
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement
. Resolution No. 903-1929, for the improvement of the alley between .
South 9th & 10th Street, by constructing a cement roadway, from
South i to South Sweet.��,�;;� ;( 1�:::rr�;::..;..�: �-�
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract under •
Improvement Resolution No. 882-1929, for the improvement of
. South HH" Street, by constructing cement sidewalks, cement curb
and gutters on both sides of said street, from South 5th Street
to South 8th Street; also, grading and paving the roadway in
_ said street, with a Bituminous mixed macadam surface on a cinder •
-
gravel foundation, from South 5th to South oth Street, same was
accepted and assessment roll ordered, the City paying for thee. � _
large intersection at South 6th & "H" Street paving only, 'Ep"L�
B. C. Hess, Superintendent of the Municipal Electric Light-
ing (/
& Power Plant, submitted his report of the cause of the
recent trouble occur ing at the plant, which was ordered placed
on file, (See report attached hereto. )
