City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday September 30th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday September 30th,
1929, at 9 o 'clock A.I//. All the members of said Board, Messrs,McFail,
and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract under
Improvement Resolution No. 903-1929, for improvement of the alley be-
tween South 9th & 10th Street, by constructing cement roadway, from
South " I" to '0J19 Street, the same was accepted and assessment roll
ordered prepared.
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay the following 5%
retained to following named contractors, viz :
W. L. Magaw contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 853-1920,
amount due 4118.10 .
W. L. Magaw contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 855-1929,
amount due . $155.67.
J. L. Teegarden &,. Co. , contractors under Improvement Resolution No.851
1929, amount due $456.95.
The Board countermanded and rescinded the order given light plant
employees July 15th, 1929, to whitewash basement etc. , at city buildin
and directed the clerk to notify 5up 't. , of plant.
Claims in amount of 45866. 62 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned, ,
