The following communication was received:
Gentlemen:
We have made an inspection of the Fairbanks-Morse-Wood
sewage pumps in the pumping station constructed under the Hipskind
contract, also have tested the equipment after the changes that hag
have been going on were completed, and find that the pumps are
now satisfactory, and we therefore recommend that final settle-
ment be made with the contractor.
We would like to add that we believe the Fairbanks-Morse
people have shown a definite desire to make their pumps satis-
factory and that they have succeeded in doing so.
Very truly yours,
Black & Veatch
By, N. T. Veatch, Jr. ,
After a conference with Mr Hipskind, the Board ordered the
letter be made a matter of record of this meeting.
The Board then adjourned,
