Thursday September 12th, 1929.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday September
12th, .1929, at 9 o&clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs
McFall and Henley, being present, the following proceedings were
had, to-wit :

The Board- approved a primary assessment roll of benefits & damages
under Declaratory Resolution'-No. - 237-1929, for the opening and
extending South "G" Street, from South 16th to 23rd Street. (60ft. )
•
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits & damages
under Declaratory Resolution No. 238-1929, for the opening of extending
of South 22nd Street, from South "E" to:7proposed South "G" St. (70ft . )
The Board approved and accepted dedication of, 5ft-.•• of ground off
east end of Lot 12, J.Cox;Addit i on for widening Ft.Wayne Ave. , of
M.S.& E.T.Hawkins.
The Board approved and accepted dedication of a strip of ground off
of Southwest part of Tract 517, 0.Map, Oity, for widening South 20th
Street south-,.of South "A"- Street, dedicated Sep.• 5th, by Ellen T.
and E. G. McCarthy-.--...
The Board received a protest .against any immediate action by the
City against Geo. B. LTro®e., in ordering him to remove his cement
block factory in rear of 1342 Ratliff St . . in violation of- "'Zoning
Ordinance" , signed by 43 residents' in the neighborhood, petition
-ordered placed on file. •
Pursuant 'to advertisement, the Board received bids for. 1000 feet
- of Fire Hose as follows, to-wit : - -

. Upon- recommendation of Fire Chief, the Board award the contract
for furnishing 1,000 ft. of Paragon Brand of Fire Hose, to the
Eureka Fire Hose Mfg. Co. , -• *
_Claims in amount of 46543.14 were allowed.
