Thursday August 22nd, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
meet in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
August 22nd, 1929, at 9 o ' clock A.1. All the members of said
Board, iLessrs, Held, 1'dio ail and. Henley being present. The _ol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
Permission was granted John A. Vosmeier to cut the curb at
D17 South ',lit! Street, from driveway.

The Board directed the Richmond City Water ~Works Corporation
to install a fire hydrant on west side of North 10th Street
north of the bridge, to be located by Fire Chief.
The Board ordered extra Lamp Post on North 9th Street at Post
Office buildings, due to changes made at office.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose
wroperty is primarily assessed as benefits or damages awarded.
under Declaratory Resolution No. 230-1929, for the opening of
Northwest bth Street, from Pearl to Main Street. No one remon-
strating, the Board approved a final assessment roll of benefits
assessed and damages awarded as heretofore approved, and now
direct the seine be forthwith transmitted to the Department of
Finance. (And Northwest bth Street is herewith deIlared to be
opened, widened and extended to West Main Street ) •
The Board awarded the Contract for Stokers to be used at Muni-
cipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant, to the Westinghouse
Electric & Mfg. , Co. , at price of 14 , c C -.00 plus U 00.00 for
furnishing steel total ;P14, 524000, as per proposal, received
August 8th, 1925.
