The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday August 19th 1929, at 9 o 'clock A.m. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit : The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 89+-1929, for the improvement of the alley between South 5th & bth Street, by constructing a cement roadway, from South "A" Street to the 2nd alley running east and west south of Main Street. No one remonstrating the Board approved a final assessment roll confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted . to the :Department of Finance. The Board met to hear remonstrance if any, of persons whose property is primarily assessed under Improvement esolution No. 897-1929, for the improvement of the alley between North 15th & l6th_ Street, by constructing cement roadway from North "D" to "E" Street . No one re- monstrating, - the Board a oproved a final assessment roll, confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore aooroved, and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Leoartment of Finance. The Board rescinded Improvement Resolution No. 901-1929, and readopt Improvement Resolution No1. 901-1929, in an amended form for the • construction of a Storm Sewer in the Southeast part of the City, from South 23rd Street & Reeveston Road south to Lot line 290, Reeveston Addition, thence nest to a point o feet west of southwest corner of lot 290, thence south parallel with & a feet west of the east .line of lots 270 to 279 both inclusive to South "E" Street; thence west to South 22nd Street; thence south along proposed opening of South 22nd Street to proposed South "G" Street, also, the . Opening,widening and deepening of a ditch outlet westward & southward from end of pro- posed sewer; also all drainage structures and appurtances as shown on plans for such sewer, estimated cost $40, 000.00 to be paid by subsequent bond issue of City. Sanitary inspector, was directed to notify Ora Wilson, to place his septic tans in proper repair and stop running of outflow from tank running onto adjacent lot, (Lot 8, .Ravibia Park Add. ) All oids for fire brick received August 8th, 1929, for M. E.L.& P.P. were thrown out, and clerk instructed to return certified check sub- mitted with bids. Claims in amount of 42794.19 were allowed; the Board aooroved the various payrolls to August loth, 1929. • • The Board then adjourned, Prest . of Board Attest : e% 6;77 -7*\ Oler'k of Board
