The Board of Public k)rks of the Oity of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board .Thursday August 8th, 1929
at 9 o 'clock A. M. Messrs, Reid and 1vicFail being present , Absent,
Mr. Henley, Two members of said Board being present . The following
proceedings were had, to-wit :/ . .

The Board met to hear remonstrances and take action on Declaratory
Resolution No. 234-1929, for the widening of South 20th Street along
the west , su e of Tract 517 Official Map of City. Messrs, Wm. Kelley J2
and Arnold Klein, ap_we?red before the Board and entered a verbal re-
monstrance against said widening in behalf of the John McCarthy, eat . ,
The Board overrule said remonstrance, and being duly advised in the
premises, take final action on said resolution, confirming, without
modification all former action taken on same. And the Board now orders
that list or roll be prepared of all owners or holders of property
and of valuable interests therein, sought to be taken or to be in-
juriously affected, which list or roll shall also describe the
property beneficially affected.
The Board met to hear remonstrances and take final action on Declara-
tory Resolution NO. 235-1929, for . the opening and widening of South
16th Street to a width of 77 feet from N.W. corn_er Tract 556 to the
north .line of South 'Jtt Street. (See resolution for description) .
. No, remonstrance being filed or presented to the Board against said
proposed opening and widening, thereupon, being fully advised in the
matter, the board takes final action on. said resolution, confirming,
without modification, all former action taken on the sane.. - And the
Board now orders that a list Or roll be prepared of all owners or
holders of property, and of valuable interests therein, sought to
be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall
•also describe the property ,beneficially affected.

tory Resolution No.. 236-1929, for the vacation of North U CU Street
froiii North 2i a to 3rd Street and the vacation of a part of North 2nd
Street to SE. corner of Tract 178, Official .Map City, Easement is
reserved however, over and thru said described property,- for- renair
and maintenance of sewers and water mains . (See resolution for descrip-
tion. ) No remonstrances having been filed with or presented to the
Board. against said pro-Dosed vacations, thereupon, being fully advised
in the matter, the ooard takes final action on said resolution, con-
firming, without modification, all former action taken on same. And
the board now orders that. a list Or roll be prepared of all owners or
holders of property, and of valuable interests therein, sought to be
taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also
describethe property oeneficia.11y affected.

affected under Improvement Resolution vo.902-1929, for the improvement

Sides & 're.ding & paving the roadway with either, Rock Asphalt , Sheet
Asphalt, tneinforced Concrete or Bituminous Macadam, from South 12th to
13th Street . After hearing all persons interested who appeared, the
Board continued hearing on said resolution to Monday August 12th, 192S
