' Monday August 5th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday August 5th
1929, .at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Reid and McFall being present ;
1'!!r. Henley being absent. Two members of said Board being present,
the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board accepted the proposition of the Lions Club, that they
would furnish the materials to build a wading pool in the West 7th
Street Parka The City to do the work and Park Superintendent was
directed to build said wading pool, and purchase the materials as
suggested by said Lions Club, and have the invoices and bills sent
to said Lions Club, by the merchants from whom the purchases are
made, for payment of sale.
The Board notify Otto Heins, to remove the garage in Southwest 15th
Street, formerly Charles Avenue, from the street within ten days.
The Board approved a primary _assessment roll of benefits & damages
in matter of widening of Northwest 6th Street, from 1st alley south
of Pearl Street to Main Street, as provided for under Declaratory
Resolution No. 230-1929.
Claims in amount of 6, 35l..g7 were allowed.
The Board order an ordinance prepared, appropriating ' 41, 500.00
out of the earnings of the M.E. L.& P.P. to account of boiler, aux.
equipment etc. , for the iyurchase of stoker, valve, brick, fan and
stack and installing the same at said plant .
The Board then adjourned,
