City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday July 22nd, 1929.
The Board. of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday July 22nd
1929, at �9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 903-1929
for the improvement of the alley between South 9th & 10th Street;
by constructing cement roadway, from South " I" to South "J" Strreet.
The Board order Two Ford trucks completely equiped and with Anthony •
dump bodies, for use of Street Department, from the W. E. nrc',Y'ninney

Superintendent Hess of Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant
submitted report as to bids received for Boiler at Light plant
requesting time for report on same until further information- is
received by him, time granted.
The Clerk was directed to notify P. C. C.& St .L.Railroad Co. , as
high bank at G. R. & I. Railroad crossing at School Street, for
information as to what the intentions of company are in the
matter.
Claims in amount of 14, 976. 29 were allowed. •
Messrs, Will .Reller, T. 0. Harrington & John Nicholson members
of the. Board of Trustees of Reid 14iemorial Hospital, appeared be-
fore the Board, requesting that the City give to Hospital free
electric current stating their average bill was approx. 0.00.00
per month, considering the amount of charity work done by the
hospital and the character of the institution and its location
the .board of trustees feel that the city should donate this ser-
vice, after some discussion in this matter, the Board of Works
take the same under advisement , for further investigation and
consultation with the CO:tLuon Council.
The Board then adjourned,
