Thursday June 13th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday June 13th,1929
at 9 o'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid,
McFall and Henley, being present. The following proceedings were
had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear remonstrances, if any of persons whose property
is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 073-1928,
for the improvement of Boyer Street, by constructing cement curb &
gutter, sidewalks, planting trees on both sides and paving the road-
way with reinforced concrete, from Stevens Street to Williamsburgh
Pike. No one remonstrating, the 'Board approved a final assessment
roll confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved
and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department
of Finance. -
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose property
is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 889-1929,
for the improvement of North "H" Street, by constructing cement
sidewalk on both sides of street, from North 12th to l4th Street.
No one remonstrating, the Board approved a Final Assessment roll
confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved and
now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of
Finance.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. S99-1929.
for the improvement of South "0" Street, by constructing cement
sidewalks, curb & gutter and planting trees on both sides of street
grading and paving the roadway with one of the following kinds of
pavements, to-wit; Reinforced concrete; Sheet Asphalt ° Rock Asphalt
or Bituminous Macadam, from South 5th to 8th Street. :- i✓, . .� ;t
The Board employ William Longman as special patrolman at Glen Miller
- = Park, and request the Police Commissioners to grant police powers
to said Longman.
The Clerk was instructed to request Messrs, B. Pyle, Lee Ridgeway and
Mr. Brunner of Gas Company, to meet with then next Thursday June
20th, 1929, subject of Condit ion, of South 5th Street, below "H" St.
Claims in amount of $3785. 63 were allowed.
