The Boar& of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday June 6th
1929, at 9 o 'clock A. Z. All the members -of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings
. were had, to-wit :
IIA pe t i t$on for the vacation of alley 1st south of Peacock Road
signed by gas. & L1ary A Peelle was received & referred to the
City Planning Commission.
The Board received copy of an order of the Public Service Commis-
sion of Indiana, in matter of "Abandoning C.& O.Passenger Station
' at South -Richmond" , placed on file.
Permission was granted the Glee Realty Co. , to cut curb at '+orath
13th & "E" Streets, for driveways. .
The Finance Department were directed to pay to W.L.Magaw, contract-
or under Improvement Resolution Noa 864-1928, the sum of 6573;OO
retained until certain work was finished under said contract.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract under
Improvement Resolution No. 879-1928, for cement alley 1st north of
National `Road from Southwest -I-th to 5th Street, same was accepted
and assessment roll ordered prepared.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract under
Improvement Resolution No. 885-1929, for sewer between Southwest let
Street & Whitewater Boulevard, same was accepted and assessment
roll ordered prepared.
. Claims in amount of $11, 095.49 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
