City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday May 20th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,- met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday May 20th
1929, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said'Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
In matter of request of Atwood Jenkins, to construct cement side-
walk on west side of Southwest 8th Street; upon the recommendation
of the City Ehgineer,D.B.Davis, request of Mr. Jenkins is granted
and engineer instructed to give the proper lines etc. , .if said
walk is constructed from National Road to the alley north in said
street.
The Board approved the contract & bond of J.L.Teegarden & Co. ,
contractors under Improvement Resolution No. S 2-1929, for the
improvement of South "H" Street, from South 5th to 8th Street.
The City Engineer reported the completion of contract under Im-
provement Resolution No. 889-1929 for the construction of cement
sidewalks on both sides of North "H" Street, from North 12th to
14th Street, same was accepted and assessment roll ordered.
The Clerk was instructed to notify the American Magazine Co. , to
discontinue mailing The American City Magazine to Board of Pub-
lic Works.
Mr. Fahlsing, reported bad condition existing at Crosshall and
Grant Streets, Street Commissioner instructed to consult the city
engineer as to proper method to eliminate the condition.

Claimd in amount of 49259.13 were allowed.
